Show Notes
How she got to China
Lolly has been a supporting spouse for over 20 years and the move to Shenzhen isn’t an exception! Now just six months into her journey, she is loving her experience so far!
Memorable “This is China” moment
Scooters violating red lights have almost clipped Lolly a time or two and beeping horns used to really throw her off course.
What made her current role attractive
Interacting with other people is one of Lolly’s strengths so admissions is a perfect match for her.
What’s special about her school
Because of it’s small size, there’s a very family feel to the school. In terms of curriculum, the teachers use a project-based learning approach to educate the students.
What sort of teacher would thrive there
Obviously open-minded and sensitive to other cultures because the children come from around the world; additionally, they must be a great team-player as each teacher has a local Chinese teaching assistant.
